Can Water Help Weight Loss?

Ae you one of those people who watches what you eat, exercise regularly, and still can't get rid of belly fat?  Well you are not alone.  Like most people, you're probably not drinking enough water.

Truth is, most people are carrying around a few extra pounds than they would if they did drink the proper amount of water.

So if you can't get rid of that belly fat, maybe you should try something as simple as drowning your sorrows in natures magical weight loss mineral.

Simply drinking more water will help you increase your metabolism.  Think about it this way, the liver's main job is to convert stored fat to energy.  However, the liver sometimes has to pick up the slack of the kidney, if the kidneys are water deprived. Kidneys nee a lot of water to function correctly.  If the kidneys are not getting enough water, they the liver has to do their job along with it's own.

This lower the livers productivity.  Meaning it cannot burn fat as fast as it could when the kidneys are not pulling their own weight.  If you allow this to happen, you're setting yourself of to store fat.

Many of my clients agree to increase their water intake, however after a few days it becomes difficult to stick with.  During the first few days of drinking more water that your body is accustomed to, you're running to the bathroom constantly.  It seems that the water is coming out just as fast as it's going in, and many people figure that their new hydration habit is not working.  Whatever you do, don't stop!

What is happening is your body is flushing itslef of the water is have been storing throughout all those years of "survival mode".  As you continue to give your body all the water it could ask for, it gets rid of what it doesn't need.

Another benefit of drinking lots of water is it improves muscle tone.  You can lift weights until you are blue in the face, but if your muscles are suffering from a drought, you wont notice a real difference in your appearance.  Muscle that have all the water they need have more defined definition and contract easier making your workouts less strenuous and more effective.

Water is free of calories! It hydrates your body and it tastes good.  So get in half of your body weigh in ounces each and every day.  It's really not that hard.

As an additional bonus, water will help you decrease you food cravings as the body can't tell the difference between thirst and hunger.

If you are serious about becoming leaner, sexier, healthier and finally toning up that midsection, then drinking water is an absolute must.
